What is MyTeamPoint?

MyTeamPoint lets you reach your own Windows, Mac and Linux devices from the browser. You install a small agent on each device, and every device appears in one grid with live online status and stats. Double click a device to open a session.

Which systems can I add?

How do I add a device?

Add a device in the app, pick its system, then download the installer and run it on that device. As soon as the agent connects, the device shows up in your grid.

Do I need to open ports or install Docker?

Accepted Answer

No. The agent is a small installer, not a container, so there is no Docker to set up. It dials out to our relay over port 443, which means it works behind NAT, firewalls and dynamic IP addresses. Nothing on the device ever listens for connections.

What do I see for each device?

Live online status, plus CPU, RAM, disk, uptime and who is logged in. Every device you add appears in the same grid.

How do I open a session?

Double click a device in the grid and a session opens in your browser. On Linux devices and servers you get a terminal, a desktop-style GUI and a file manager.

How are sessions kept secure?

Each device gets its own certificate and every connection uses mTLS, so both sides prove who they are. Our API brokers each session with a short-lived, single-use token, and every session is recorded in an audit log.

Who can open my devices?

Workspaces have owners, admins and members. On Ultimate you can share devices and choose, per device, whether a person gets control or view-only access. For your most sensitive devices you can also turn on multi-factor authentication (MFA).

Which plans are there?

Personal plans are for your own devices: Free covers 3 devices, Pro 25 and Ultimate 250. Every personal plan, Free included, has the whole product: organizations, groups, enrollment, inventory, scripts, patching, software, policies, alerts and Get help. Pro and Ultimate can also share single devices with people you choose. The Business plan is for IT teams and providers: unlimited devices and organizations, priced per technician license. Do the plans limit the help desk, automation or reports?

Every plan has the whole product, so the help desk, checks and automation on the devices of your organizations, the security score, the dashboard, reports, network discovery and AI assistants are on Free too. What changes is the allowance: file storage (1 GB on Free, 5 GB on Pro, 20 GB on Ultimate, 50 GB plus 5 GB per license on Business), automation rules (5, 25, 100, unlimited), scheduled reports (2, 10, 50, unlimited) and public API calls a day (1,000, 10,000, 50,000, 100,000). Assigning tickets to other technicians and the support mailbox are Business.

Do the plans limit Microsoft 365, assessments or AI?

Invoices, contracts, online payments, the calendar, antivirus consoles and assessments are on every plan. What the plans limit: Microsoft 365 tenants (1 on Free, 3 on Pro, 10 on Ultimate, unlimited on Business), scheduled assessments (1, 5, 20, unlimited; running one by hand is not limited) and AI messages a month (30, 300, 1,000, and 500 per license on Business). The team calendar and client pages and PDFs without "Made with MyTeamPoint" are Business.

How do I change plans or cancel?

Open the Billing page of your account, which opens the secure Stripe customer portal. Your personal plan and your business have their own sections there. Cancelling stops future charges, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.

What is your refund policy?

Accepted Answer

Subscription payments are non-refundable once the billing period has started, for both monthly and yearly subscriptions, personal plans and Business licenses alike. Licenses added during a period are charged for the rest of it, and a reduction takes effect at the next renewal without a credit. If you think you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days and we will put it right.

What is the difference between a personal plan and Business?

A personal plan belongs to one person and covers their own devices, limited only by the number of devices. Business is a workspace for a company or an IT provider: it buys a pool of technician licenses, has unlimited devices and organizations, and its team works together in the organizations each person is authorized for. The two never mix: a business license is not a personal plan, and each has its own subscription and its own section on the Billing page.

How do Business licenses work?

Like Office 365: the business buys a number of licenses, and the owner or a business admin assigns them to team members, and can unassign one and give it to someone else at any time. Assigning never changes the bill: you pay for the licenses bought. Buying more adds them at once and charges the rest of the period; reducing takes effect at the next renewal and never goes below the number assigned. A member without a license keeps their account and their own devices, but not technician access to the business.

Is there a Business trial?

Yes. Create a business from your account or the pricing page and you get 14 days with 2 technician licenses and unlimited devices, no card needed. There is one trial per company domain, or per address at a public mail provider. You can buy licenses at any time, and the rest of the trial carries over.

What happens when I reach my device limit?

We tell you plainly, and everything you have keeps working. To add more devices, move to Pro (25 devices), Ultimate (250) or Business (unlimited, priced per technician).

What happens if a Business payment fails?

Accepted Answer

Everything keeps working for a grace period while you update the card from the Billing page. If the payment still fails after it, licensed technicians can look but not act until the business pays again. Nothing is deleted.
